Pretty amazing student discounts are being offered by Adobe. Here’s a brief sample:

$1,500 off Creative Suite 3 Master Collection. Retail: $2,499. You pay: $999

$700 off Photoshop CS3 Extended. Retail: $999. You pay: $299

$159 off Acrobat 8 Professional. Retail: $449. You pay: $159
$1,500 off? Some of the biggest discounts I’ve ever seen.
The Catch: Adobe requires that you fax them a copy of your student ID to verify that you’re actually a student.

H&R Block offers a student discount on tax filing for those who are at enrolled at least part-time at their college/university and are filing an EZ Form. The discount includes the filing of federal taxes and one state tax form. The exact discount varies as each state tax form costs a different amount to file. In my case, I filed a federal, Massachusetts, and Maine tax form. The federal and Massachusetts forms were covered under the student discount and I only had to pay in entirety for the Maine tax form. Here’s how it broke down:
Total: $173.00
Student Discount: $78.00
Balance: $95.00
$95.00 for a complex filing that only took 1 hour with 0 headaches is definitely a good deal.
